New Watercolor Batik Commision "Lotus Praying to the Moon"
My Completed Commision ”Lotus Praying to the Moon ”Watercolor Batik painted on Rice paper. I loved designing and painting this lovely batik. Alway a surprise when complete, I loved depicting a stylized figure, deep water and a sky that seems to have a shooting star.

New Pastel
“Meet Blossom Rhodendron” was begun at Picklestreet Studio School during Maryann Pals Workshop. The image is from my photo and completed at home in my garden looking at the same Rhodedendron I had photographed. Thanks to Maryann Pals for sharing her technique and Tips.

This was the first plein air painting of the season for the Plein Air Artists of West Michigan group (PAAWM) at Oval Beach. I painted this same spot last year. Great view up and down the shoreline.
